Somatic Experiencing®

is an effective psychophysiological method of treating the symptoms of trauma and relieving chronic stress. The method is developed by dr. Peter A. Levine and covers the scope of physiology, psychology, ethology, biology and neurology. It is a short-term naturalistic approach to resolution and treatment of trauma and chronic stress. The method is based on the Polyvagal Theory. 

On the session you will learn to monitor the activation of your nervous system, how to improve self-regulation. The goal is to decrease the symptoms and restore healthy functioning.
